Lewis Hamilton never stops to surprise. As Kimi Antonelli arrived at his homeGP in Imola he  found a surprise waiting for him: a message from Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes motorhome. He knew it would be there because Lewis had told him at the end of last season. But since Mercedes only uses that motorhome in Europe, he had to wait.

“The note Hamilton wrote me shows what kind of person he is beyond just being a driver. Receiving it from him, one of the greatest in history, is amazing. I’m using it as motivation to do my best on track. I’m going to frame it and hang it in the room where I change—I want to see it every time I get to the track.”

Once again, Lewis’s thoughtfulness left its mark. He welcomed the young driver set to take his seat, offering a few words of advice and some helpful tips. Not only he is the rockstar of F1, he is so human, that in the super professional world of Formula One, he becomes unique.
